How does it work?

Light is delivered into the skin creating a heat that stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin. Skin will become firmer over a period of time with an improvement in skin tone, texture, fine lines and wrinkles.

Collagen and elastin fibres provide support and structure to the skin. With age they start to diminish causing fine lines and wrinkles. Skin rejuvenation activates the fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin leaving the skin firmer and smoother.

Is it effective?

It is best suited to skin showing the first signs of lines and wrinkles, an ideal preventative treatment. Heavily sun-damaged skins will not experience optimal results.

How many treatments are needed?

The best results are obtained over a course of six treatments and in combination with cosmeceutical products. A gap of approximately 2 weeks is left between treatments and appropriate cosmeceutical homecare produces should be used to aid skin firming and collagen production, which will be individually prescribed to you. Thereafter, top up sessions are performed as required.

How does it work?

AHAs are naturally occurring substances that have been used for centuries to improve the appearance of the skin. Of all the AHAs Glycolic Acid, derived from sugar cane, has the greatest ability to penetrate the skin due to its smaller molecular size.
